Ford Transit Minibus Remote Programming in Nottingham

Jake Theisen |9th April, 2026

A 2008 Ford Transit Minibus in Nottingham, owner had two original remotes that needed pairing back to the van. Jake attended on a mobile callout, the Autel session ran clean first time, and both remotes were paired and tested in one sitting.

The call

Phone brief was simple: 2008 Transit Minibus, two original remotes on hand, needed pairing to the van. Customer-supplied remotes, so no blade cutting on this one - programming was the whole job.

How Jake programmed the remotes

Standard first step on arrival - diagnostic scan, clear any stored codes, then open the programming session on the Autel IM608 PRO II via OBD.

Both of the customer's original remotes paired on the first attempt. No hiccups, no fall-back tools needed - a clean Autel session from start to finish on this generation of Transit. Remote buttons bound to the central locking and rear door release, tested after pack-down.

Outcome

Two original Transit Minibus remotes programmed and paired to the van. Job done in one sitting on the customer's driveway.
